Club Stories
George Jackson, our President, will host ZOOM meetings starting April 30 until such time as we can get back for breakfast.  Everyone should be able to attend on their lap top or smart phone.   Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom) is an American communications technology company headquartered in San Jose, California. It provides videotelephony and online chat services through a cloud-based peer-to-peer software platform and is used for teleconferencing, telecommuting, distance education, and social relations.  Use of the platform is free for video conferences of up to 100 participants, with a 40-minute time limit.
2020.04.09  For the entire week of Passover, we are locked down in our home, but there is hope that people will start to return to work and school on April 19th, gradually at first. However social distancing and mask-wearing will be required and entertainment (malls, theatres, restaurants, bars, etc) will not open until next month at the earliest, if things go well.  As of today, 86 people have died, so firm and fast government policy has been working and has averted a disaster here. Dr. Bob Goldwasser from Jerusalem.

2020.04.09   Everything fine with us at the Point.  We are both working from home and things surprisingly going well.  I have a large cigar supply.  Hope everyone is safe and has a good Easter.
I hope jimmy ray has enough wine to survive.  Dick Neff

Bunny Fest has been called off.  Both the Kenner and Metairie Sunrise Rotary Clubs are planning to have Bunny Fest 2021 weekend of April 2 and 3.  We have notified our vendors, suppliers, and sponsors.  Everything is on hold for a year. (12,000 eggs and candy are stored in air conditioned facilities and should be fine).
